On 9 October 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on Cambodia and Lao PDR to further enhance Comprehensive and Long-Lasting Strategic Partnership on their official website.
According to the press, during the bilateral talk between Cambodia and Lao PDR in Vientiane on 8 October 2024, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and H.E. Dr. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Lao PDR and Chair of ASEAN for 2024 expressed their satisfaction with the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
