On 21 April 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on on the first meeting of the “2+2” strategic dialogue between foreign ministers and national defence ministers of Cambodia and China.
At the invitation of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister TEA Seiha, Minister of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Excellency WANG Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency DONG Jun, Minister of National Defence of the People’s Republic of China, will co-chair the First Meeting of the “2+2” Strategic Dialogue Mechanism between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Ministers of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the People’s Republic of China, on 22 April 2026 in Phnom Penh.
