On 25 August 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on the outcomes of the third bilateral political consultation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Both sides held in-depth discussions on ways to further strengthen political and economic cooperation and deepen their relations of friendship and cooperation. The discussions explored a wide range of potential areas for enhanced collaboration, trade and investment, education, connectivity, tourism and defense cooperation.
