Press release: RGC releases special funds through ARDB to intervene and stabilize paddy prices
On 8 November 2025, the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) issued a press release regarding the release of funds under the Royal Government’s credit program to intervene and stabilize paddy prices. In response to the issue of falling rice prices on the international market, the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has decided to release an additional USD 40 million under the special government credit program through the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB). This initiative aims to promote agricultural products, find markets, and stabilize agrarian prices. These funds will be provided as capital to partner rice mills, enabling them to purchase as much paddy rice as possible from fellow farmers at a fair price.
