Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on UNCLOS conciliation commission to convene second meeting with Cambodia and Thailand
On 09 October 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a statement on the UNCLOS Conciliation Commission to convene a second meeting with Cambodia and Thailand in The Hague from 14 to 18 October 2026.
The meeting marks another important step in the peaceful process initiated by Cambodia to resolve the two countries’ maritime differences. Building on the constructive discussions held during the first meeting in Singapore, the session will provide an opportunity for the Parties to explore avenues for further progress and identify areas of agreement relating to the delimitation of a maritime boundary.
