Gender studies will be incorporated into the curriculum at Cambodia’s largest university in an effort to shape the country’s top students’ views on the role of women in society, educators and experts said on Wednesday at a workshop on the course. A pilot program will begin at the Royal University of Phnom Penh’s (RUPP) geography department next year, with all first-year students completing a 15-week course that will explore topics including feminism in Asia, gender-based violence and sexuality. …
