Cambodian lawmakers, educators discuss reform measures for educational system

Hang Chuon Naron said Cambodia now has more than 7,000 primary schools with about 2 million students, 5,750 secondary schools with 900,000 students, and over 100 tertiary schools with 100,000 students. “Cambodia has attained great achievements in developing education sector,”he said. “Currently, 98 percent of the parents send their children to school.”
