Cambodia’s Minister of Commerce Sun Chanthol said Tuesday that the country is expected to achieve its goal of exporting one million tons of milled rice in 2015.
“The country had exported more than 400,000 tons in 2013 and there is two years more toward the goal, so I do believe that the country can reach this target,” he said while witnessing a signing ceremony between the Amru Rice-Cambodia Compamy and South Korea’s Hanwha Corporation.
Under the agreement, the two companies would work together to export Cambodian rice to South Korea and other Asian countries. …
