Two day training, consultation on ‘stronger protection of Cambodian children’ to kickoff

UNICEF Cambodia and the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), including its Asia Pacific Regional Office will be hosting a two day national training and consultation seminar on domestic and inter-country adoption in Cambodia, according to a UNICEF media advisory. The seminar will be held at the Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh starting Wednesday, December 4th, and will discuss the subject of "stronger protection of Cambodian children". ... The aim of the consultation is to discuss Cambodia’s progress regarding the implementation of the 1993 Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Co-operation in respect of Inter-country Adoption(1993 Hague Convention) and the Inter-Country Adoption Law with the Permanent Bureau of the HCCH, the media advisory said. ...
