After receiving permission from the Royal Government, the Ministry of Mines and Energy decided to grant a license to another company, LATE CHENG MINING DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD, a Chinese company to conduct gold mining business in Cambodia. If there is no change, the new company will start operating in mid-2023, located in Sandan district, Kampong Thom province. This was confirmed by Mr. Ing Depola, Director General of the General Department of Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Mines and Energy. Related to Xinshan Industrial (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. Paid royalties to the state nearly USD120,000 and Delcom (Kampuchea) Pte., Ltd. Paid nearly USD190,000 in royalties. |
