On 03 July 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on Cambodia strongly protests Thailand’s continued border invasion.
The Royal Government of Cambodia would like to formally protest Thailand’s continued violations of Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity along the border. On 02 July 2026, Thai armed forces erected barbed wire in two separate locations: in the Mom Tei area, Preah Vihear province, and in the Chub Run area, Trapeang Prasat district, Oddar Meanchey province.
