On 09 December 2021, the Ministry of Health issued a joint statement between the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) in Cambodia on the update of the new COVID-19 virus, Omicron.

In Cambodia, the implementation of the three preventive measures and the three do not combine with COVID-19 vaccination is the effective key and still our strongest defense against COVID-19, including Delta and Omicron and protect vulnerable people if these measures are properly and regularly implemented
