On 4 June 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on “Cambodia and China sign agreement on special fund for Mekong-Lancang cooperation project 2026”.
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and His Excellency WANG Wenbin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Cambodia, signed an agreement on special funds for seven Mekong-Lancang Cooperation projects, totaling approximately 1,980,000 US dollars.
