Press release on the official launch of the Financial Sector Development Strategy 2025-2030
On 17 December 2025, the National Bank of Cambodia issued a statement announcing the official launch of the “Financial Sector Development Strategy 2025-2030.” This strategy marks the fourth update since its inception in 2001 and was developed with technical assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). It outlines a vision to drive economic growth by fostering a resilient, diverse, inclusive, and innovative financial system. Key objectives include promoting financial inclusion, strengthening financial stability, and improving financial market infrastructure to keep pace with evolving economic and financial trends.
