Open Development Cambodia (ODC) published a new dataset on “Families affected by climate hazards (2014-2019)”. This dataset shows the loss and damage due to extreme weather events is tracked annually in Cambodia through the proportion of families affected by at least one of the three major climate hazards: flood, storm, and drought. The data is expressed as the number of affected by hazard indicators (flood, storm, and drought) per 1,000 families and provides insights into the evolution of this indicator at both the provincial and commune levels since 2014. The data, originally sourced from the National Council for Sustainable Development’s website, was converted from Excel format to an SQLite database before being made available on the Open Development Cambodia organization’s website.
