3,200 hectares of forest will be cleared for Ilmenite mining with a mine life of 68 years. The forest clearance to open the mine pit will be conducted, in accordance with the mining stages, which is approximately 47 hectares a year. After reaching the final pits, the mine will be reclaimed and replanted the trees. |
