On 16 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 15 January to 6:00 AM on 16 January 2026.

As of 6:00 AM on 16 January 2026, there are 140,693 displaced persons remaining in displacement camps. Out of a total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, approximately 500,000 people have reintegrated into their communities.
