On 2 January 2026, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued an announcement on the launch of the TranslateKH 2nd generation app.

The 2nd generation of TranslatKH is highly capable of understanding and translating based on the context of translation content rather than sentence construction, using artificial intelligence technology combined with deep learning techniques and a large language model.
