On 6 January 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on the diplomatic briefing on the latest developments of the Cambodia-Thailand border situation.

His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn highlighted the positive outcomes of the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special GBC, which addressed key priorities aimed at further de-escalation, trust-building, and the restoration of peace and normalcy.
