Press release on the result of the 2019 annual meeting and the 2020 direction of the Ministry of Mines and Energy
On 11-12 February 2020, the Ministry of Mines and Energy convened the 2019 annual meeting and the 2020 direction at the ministry. Presided over by the Minister of Mines and Energy, around 500 people of the ministry officials, representative of the Municipal/Provincial Governor Council, and Provincial Department of Mines and Energy, have participated in this meeting. According to the press release, in 2019, the ministry has set a policy to “Promote, develop and manage the mining and energy sectors”, and for 2020, the meeting has set out the ministry’s new policy on the harvest mandate to: “Enhance and increase extractive industries’ revenue, strengthening capacity and energy security, including radiation safety and security by standing on the economic, social and environmental value.”
