On 3 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 PM on 2 January to 1:00 PM on 3 January 2026.

From 6:00 PM on 2 January to 1:00 PM on 3 January 2026, 13,527 displaced persons continued to return to their homes, resulting in a remaining total of 312,979 displaced persons, including 164,714 women and 105,333 children.
