Announcement on diverting all types of traffic at the Victory Bridge (Me Teuk Bridge) connecting National Road 55 in Pursat Province
On 13 December 2025, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport issued an announcement stating that at 6:02 AM on that day, the Thai military used two F-16 fighter jets to drop three bombs, severing the two Victory Bridges (Me Teuk Bridge) connecting National Road 55 in Pursat Province. This action was described as a serious illegal violation of Cambodia’s national sovereignty and destruction of public infrastructure. The bridge, which is 180 meters long and 10 meters wide and located at Kilometer 169+400, is now impassable. The Ministry announced that it is ready to assess the damage and commence repairs after receiving authorization from the frontline, and it urged the public and all transporters to avoid using the affected area.
