GMAC: Announcement on arrival of raw materials for the garment industry and special facilitation measures of the Royal Government of Cambodia
On 11 March 2020, the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC) has announced to the public on arrival of raw materials for the garment industry from China. The announcement said, with intervention from the head of the Royal Government to the Chinese side, raw materials for the garment sector arrived at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port at 11:25 pm of Monday 09 March 2020 shipped by SITC Fujian, and 12 ships with more raw materials will arrive at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port subsequently until Sunday.
