Press release on Cambodia elected to two subsidiary bodies of the United Nations
On 12 May 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on Cambodia elected to two subsidiary bodies of the United Nations.
The Kingdom of Cambodia was elected to two important position as follows:
- Membership to the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR) for the term 2024-2026, beginning on 1 January 2024, and
- Membership to the Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) for the Asia-Pacific Region for the term 2023-2025, beginning from 5 April 2023 to 31 December 2025.
