On 16 November 2025, the Cambodia Human Rights Committee (CHRC) issued a press release detailing the outcome of the 4th Special Meeting of 2025 of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), which took place in Malacca, Malaysia, from 10-14 November 2025. The meeting, attended by a Cambodian delegate from the CHRC, focused on strengthening and expanding deep cooperation in the field of human rights among AICHR members and other institutions, including sharing visions, challenges, and priority areas for cooperation.
