Press release: Radio education program helps indigenous students to continue their education amid the schools suspension

On 07 April 2021, the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport issued a press release that the ministry and UNICEF are working together to ensure the disadvantaged and underprivileged children continue their education, while schools remain suspended amid the COVID-19 outbreak in the community. UNICEF has purchased 1,640 radios to provide indigenous students in the northeastern region so that they can continue their education through a multilingual educational radio program which is one of the distance-learning programs.
