Press release: The impacts on civilian areas, and casualties caused by Thailand’s aggression on Cambodia’s sovereign territory from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm, 11 December 2025
On 11 December 2025, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) issued a statement informing the national and international community of the severe impacts of the Thai Armed Forces’ aggression from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm on 11 December 2025. The statement reported 1 new civilian death and 14 injuries in Banteay Meanchey during this period, bringing the total cumulative civilian casualties since 7 December to 11 killed and 74 injured. The total number of displaced civilians sheltering in state-organized centers rose to over 226,997 people across the affected provinces.
The MoI reported that intensified shelling and F-16 air strikes targeting civilian areas up to 30 km inside Cambodian territory continued to damage civilian infrastructure, forcing 909 schools to close. The MoI urged the UN, ASEAN, and the international community to condemn Thailand’s “brutal and barbaric crimes” and demanded an immediate cessation of all illegal acts and full compliance with the ceasefire.
