On 22 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 21 January to 6:00 AM on 22 January 2026.
As of the morning of 22 January 2026, an additional 3,429 displaced persons returned to their homes. Therefore, approximately 530,000 people, equivalent to about 81 percent of the total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, have reintegrated into their communities. As a result, there are 121,644 displaced persons, including 63,810 women and 39,845 children, remaining in displacement camps.
