Acleda HQ Expansion to Start in Three Months
Acleda Bank will break ground on a 20-story tower directly behind its current headquarters on Monivong Boulevard in September to become the third bank in the country to push ahead with a high-rise property in the capital, officials at the bank said yesterday. John Brinsden, Acleda’s vice chairman, said the expansion of the headquarters is still in the planning phase, and that more design work still had to be done on the building, which will be attached to the bank’s existing six-story home. Work on the building is expected to come to a close in 2014 and will help serve Acleda’s expanding banking operations. …
