Kingdom’s garment shipments still growing
Cambodian garment and textile exports increased nearly 20 per cent in the first eight months of 2011 compared to the same period last year, according to Ministry of Commerce figures. The Kingdom exported US$2.35 billion in garments during the period, a 19.6 per cent increase over the $1.96 billion in exports between January and August of last year, according to the figures. Garment exports to the US increased 13.2 per cent to $1.29 billion from $1.14 billion, according to the statistics.
