Cambodia’s trade with foreign countries reaches nearly 16 bln USD last year
Cambodia's trade volume with foreign countries amounted to 15.9 billion U.S. dollars last year, up 18 percent compared with 13.4 billion U.S. dollars in a year earlier, according to the report of the Commerce Ministry on Wednesday. The country had exported products in equivalent to 6.9 billion U.S. dollars last year, up 26 percent from 5.5 billion U.S. dollars in a year earlier, the report said. Garment export accounted for about 80 percent of the total export, it said, adding that other exported items are dry rubber, rice, corn and cassava. On the import side, the country had imported goods in equivalent to 9 billion U.S. dollars last year, up 14 percent from 7.9 billion U.S. dollars in a year earlier. ...
