Announcement on the closure of the 2026 fishing season

On 18 May 2026, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries issued an announcement on the closure of the 2026 fishing season.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries would like to inform the public about the date of the closure of fishing in the areas managed by freshwater fisheries. During this closure period, all fishermen must use small-scale fishing gear in accordance with the provisions of the Fisheries Law.
