Notification on the prohibition of clearing, burning, encroaching, occupying, buying and selling state lands, and illegally certifying state land in natural protected areas
On 12 September 2018, the Ministry of Environment issued a notification of prohibition of clearing, burning, encroaching, occupying, buying and selling state lands, and illegally certifying state land in natural protected areas.
In order to strengthen the management of natural areas and legal rights of development investment companies, the Ministry of Environment introduced the following measures and guidelines:
- Immediately stop all illegal activities, such as clearing, burning, encroaching, residing, cultivating, and benefiting from state lands in natural protected areas.
- Immediately stop all activities including buying and selling state lands , and illegally certifying state land in natural protected areas.
