Press release: Ministry of Justice calls on protesters requesting the ministry to drop the charge against Rong Chhun to stop action immediately before authorities take legal action

On 03 August 2020, the Ministry of Justice issued a press release informing the public and the international community about the implementation of legal measures against Rong Chhun in connection with incitement to cause serious social unrest. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice called on those who have been protesting for Rong Chhun's release to stop immediately before authorities take legal action.
