Press release of the General Department of Taxation on the taxation on capital gains
On 26 September 2023, the General Department of Taxation issued a press release on the collection of tax on capital gains.
According to the press release, the tax on capital gains is not new and has been put in place since 1994. The government is working to on the framework to ease the implementation of the liability for individuals.
