On 27 May 2026, Kampot Provincial Court issued a press release on the conviction of the accused in the case of murder with torture, cruelty and aggravated fraud by a group of assigned persons (murder case of South Korean student PARK MINHO).
The spokesperson of Kampot Provincial Court has the honor to inform the public that on 6 May 2026, the Trial Council of Kampot Provincial Court held a trial on the case dated 11 August 2025, involving the defendants JIN TIAN LONG, Chinese national, YIN SONG WAN, Chinese national, LI GUANG HAO, Chinese national, LI XING PENG, Chinese national, LIU HAOXING, Chinese national, and ZHU RENZHE, Chinese national, for murder with torture, cruelty, and aggravated fraud committed by a group of people assigned to commit it at Building No. 173, Area 3 (Borey Crown), located in Rolous Village, Boeung Touk Sangkat, Bokor City, Kampot Province on 8 August 2025, a criminal offense stipulated and punishable under the provisions of Articles 205, Article 377, and Article 380, Point 5 of the Criminal Code.
