Press release on the signing of agreement on Prey Lang conservation project
On March 02, 2018, the Ministry of Environment issued a press release on the signing of the agreement on the Prey Lang forest conservation project between the Ministry of Environment, the Conservation International and Mitsui & Co., LTD, to be held on March 05 2018 at 2:30 pm, at the Ministry of Environment's office, Mok Mareth Conference Hall, under the chairman of His Excellency Say Sam Al, Minister of Environment. The signing ceremony of this agreement aims to show the commitment of international private companies, and development partners in protecting and preserving Cambodia's forest resources under the framework of the Joint Crediting Mechanism, a new bilateral mechanism between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Japan in partnership to promote green development and carbon depletion in Cambodia.
