Press Release: Outcomes of the 19th Government-Private Sector Forum on November 13, 2023, by Council for the Development of Cambodia
On the morning of Monday, 13 November 2023, at the Peace Palace, the 19th Government-Private Sector Forum was held, presided over by Samdech Moha Bovorthipadi Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The forum gathered approximately 1,200 attendees, including His and Her Excellencies, members of the government, representatives of foreign ambassadors to the Kingdom of Cambodia, capital-provincial governors, government officials, armed forces, representatives of development partners and international organizations, Neak Oknha, Oknha, ladies and gentlemen representing the private sector, and national and international guests. Initiated under the long-term and wise guidance of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Government-Private Sector Forum has persisted for 24 years since its inception on 21 December 1999. The forum is regarded as an open plenary session of the Council of Ministers, where all decisions made hold equal weight to those of the Council of Ministers.
