Kingdom’s exports jump 44%
Cambodia’s total exports rose more than 40 per cent year-on-year through October, carried by strong growth in agriculture shipments. Total exports reached US$4.05 billion in the first 10 months of 2011 compared with $2.82 billion during the same period last year, an increase of 44 per cent, data from the Ministry of Commerce showed. Agricultural exports hit $330 million, more than doubling year-on-year, according to the data. Garment exports totalled $3.47 billion, increasing about 34 per cent.
