SMEs: don’t look down on local goods
The Ministry of Commerce and representatives of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) came together on Friday to discuss ways to boost the promotion of made-in-Cambodia goods, both in local and international markets, against a background of local supermarkets discriminating against these local products. Minister of Commerce Pan Sorasak said in a seminar on “Consultation between Producers, Suppliers, Consumers and Dealers,” that his ministry was looking at overseas markets to promote local Cambodian products and also agricultural products through the regional comprehensive economic partnership program with neighboring countries in Asean and the Greater Mekong Sub-Region. ...
