Clarification on the draft Cybercrime Law
In response to the public concerns over the draft Cybercrime Law, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications is pleased to clarify that 1-the legislative process of this law is in the phase of consolidating documents, 2-cybercrimes through information and communications technology (ICT) cover cross-cutting areas and under different legal frameworks, and 3-the Royal Government of Cambodia, and the ministry promote and encourage the investment and the development in ICT according to the Master Plan of Cambodia’s ICT by 2020.
