Cambodia’s trade with Vietnam reaches 2.7 bln USD in 9 months

Bilateral trade volume between Cambodia and its neighboring Vietnam has hit 2.7 billion U.S. dollars in the first nine months of the year, up 10 percent compared with the 2.45 billion U.S. dollars over the same period last year, a Cambodian trade official said Thursday. Kem Sithan, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, said Cambodia’s export to Vietnam was valued at 403 million U.S. dollars during the January-September period this year, up 6.6 percent, while the country’s import from Vietnam was 2.3 billion U.
