Sokha’s pardon: ‘no conditions’
Freshly pardoned CNRP deputy leader Kem Sokha yesterday claimed the pardon that exonerated him on Friday was made without any conditions or concessions from the opposition party. The acting president of the opposition, who had been under de facto house arrest since May and had been sentenced to five months in prison in November for failing to appear in court as a witness, said he was ready to continue working with the ruling CPP and would not stop his struggle to find solutions for the party activists and human rights officials still in prison. …
