Exports to China Fell 10% in First Six Months

Revenues generated from Cambodian exports to China fell by 10 percent in the first half of the year, according to figures released by the Ministry of Commerce last week. About $60 million worth of goods were exported from Cambodia to China between January and June, the figures show. … The largest type of goods exported to China was garments, with $23.3 million generated from garment exports and $5.1 million from footwear (…). The exports also included 665 tons of rubber, bringing $2.3 million in revenue, and 499 tons of milled rice, which brought in $466,000, the ministry said.
